The Light Brahma is an old heritage breed known for its impressive size and fluffy feathered legs. Despite their size, they are incredibly gentle, quiet, and easy to handle. They are decent layers of brown eggs and are particularly good winter layers due to their heavy feathering. If you want a “pet” chicken that also contributes to breakfast, this is the one.
