Welcome to Chariton General Store, a family-run business rooted in small-town Iowa values. We opened in Spring 2025 with a simple goal — to make it easier for farmers, ranchers, and neighbors to get the products they need without long drives or big-box hassles.
What started as a small feed and supply business has grown into something more: a local source for both agricultural essentials and handcrafted Iowa-made products that celebrate the best of our state.

Inside our small in-home shop, you’ll find:
- Rustic soaps refill station and our handmade liquid soaps & natural cleaners
- Locally made goat milk soaps and lotions
- Honey, maple syrup, jam, salsa, chips, and flour
- Wooden baby toys, engraved tumblers, infused oils, and tallow lotion

Delivery & Ordering
Delivery Options
- $10 Flat Rate Delivery: Available within a 40–60-mile radius, including Des Moines, Indianola, Knoxville, Corydon, Ottumwa, and surrounding areas.
- Free Chariton Delivery: Remains free inside the city limits. Deliveries are made every Tuesday and Wednesday evening.
- Free Pallet Delivery: Free within 30 miles for full pallet orders of the same product (one ton minimum).

- Call Us: Place an order at (641) 203-5625 and schedule your pickup or delivery.
- Visit Us: Stop by our store to browse and shop in person.
