Description
Red Lake Earth Diatomaceous Earth with Calcium Bentonite is a premium, food/feed-grade mineral blend sourced from freshwater deposits in Canada. It contains two natural materials:
-
Diatomaceous Earth (DE) — made from the fossilized remains of microscopic aquatic organisms (diatoms). It forms a fine, porous powder rich in amorphous silica.
-
Calcium Bentonite Clay — a natural clay that enhances absorbency and binding properties.
This dual-action composition helps keep livestock feed dry and free-flowing, even in humid environments, and may be sprinkled in animal housing to reduce excess moisture and odor. Red Lake Earth is OMRI-Listed for organic livestock production, making it suitable for farmers who prefer natural management tools.
All Red Lake Earth products are food/feed grade, not calcined, and contain less than 1% crystalline silica, making them safe for approved livestock applications when used as directed.
Important: This product is intended for animal and agricultural use. Not for human consumption. Always follow label directions and handle in well-ventilated areas to avoid inhaling dust.
