📦 How It Works
- Place your $100 deposit to reserve your half hog (non-refundable)
- We schedule processing and notify you
- You provide cutting instructions to the processor
- Pay processing fees directly to the butcher
- We let you know when processing is complete and will deliver it to your door if you live in Iowa. If you do not live in Iowa or you do not want your share delivered, please let us know. You are more than welcome to pick it up from the butcher.

The butcher will contact you when your hog is ready and can walk you through all cutting options.
Processing is customizable—you will choose your cuts, thickness, sausage options, and more directly with the processor.
Processing Costs (Paid Separately to Processor)
- Slaughter fee: $40 per hog- (Split in half when half of a hog is purchased)
- Processing: $0.80/lb (based on carcass weight)
- Offal disposal: $25
