The Prairie Bluebell Egger is a specialized crossbreed designed to give you the best of both worlds: high egg production and colorful eggs. By crossing an Araucana with a White Leghorn, Hoover’s Hatchery created a bird that lays large numbers of blue eggs. They are active, lightweight birds that are excellent foragers and very heat tolerant. If you want a colorful egg basket without sacrificing quantity, this is the perfect choice.
